Intelliforce-IT Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for Mission Analytics. You will shape backend Java services, API design, and distributed processing for mission data across DIGS. The role emphasizes architecture, scalability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will evaluate frameworks, implement robust services, and contribute to data processing for UI delivery, while enjoying leadership accessibility and a stable, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret with Polygraph, active; no sponsorship available.
• US citizenship required; visas cannot be sponsored.
• 14+ years of software engineering on similar programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; substitution possible.
• 7+ years backend Java development experience.
• 3+ years cloud experience with distributed data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend Java systems.
• Build RESTful APIs and DIGS backend services.
• Make architectural decisions on service boundaries and frameworks.
• Evaluate Spring vs lighter solutions for the use case.
• Develop scalable software for high-complexity mission environments.
• Work with relational databases, ORM, and NoSQL data stores.
• Prototype analytic capabilities for DIGS teams and data presentation.
