Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you’ll mentor peers, collaborate with product, and advocate for technical excellence across distributed teams in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of related backend experience.
• Proven experience with Java/Spring ecosystem and relational databases.
• Experience with designing scalable backend systems and AI-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers through pairing, code reviews, and weekly Dev Chats.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers in software engineering practices.
• Work with product to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end deployment.
