Connexity, a Taboola company, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable API-driven backend systems for an advertiser management platform. You will contribute to architecture, data modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-performance services.

The role requires 10+ years in backend development, strong Java, Spring Boot, and REST/API expertise, plus experience with relational databases and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional backend experience with high-performance systems.
• Proficiency in Java; Python/Node.js/Go also required.
• Must have Spring Boot experience.
• RESTful API design and implementation expertise.
• Strong relational DB skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL); NoSQL/BigQuery exposure helpful.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with AI coding tools and evaluating AI-generated code.
• Awareness of Agile development practices.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Degree in CS/Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Backend development of scalable systems and APIs.
