You will own systems spanning loan lifecycle management, risk calculations, and real-time position tracking, collaborating with Product, Risk, Operations, and other engineering teams to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with production ownership.
• Experience designing and scaling service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with distributed systems emphasizing correctness, availability, and data integrity.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud-native environments.
• Ability to lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive code quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience adopting generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, design, and delivery of financing backend services ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Build APIs and frameworks supporting loan lifecycle management, risk calculations, and real-time position tracking.
• Improve tooling, testing, monitoring, and observability for financing systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Operations, and engineering teams to translate requirements.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen resilience and ship safely at speed.
• Mentor engineers and promote high standards for code quality and reliability.
• Use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows and outcomes.
