Nourish, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fast-growing team. You will influence the core platform, working with engineering, product, design, and analytics to ship scalable features for patients, dietitians, and insurers.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager of your Pod, you’ll own major parts of the codebase, drive timelines, and lead deliverables. This role offers a hybrid work model with remote candidacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years as a Backend focused Software Engineer, preferably building high-performance internal platforms to streamline operations.
• 3+ years utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, AWS, or willingness to cross-train.
• Ability to ship fast, independently drive projects from idea to implementation.
• Strong collaboration and desire to be deeply involved in product and design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship products and features quickly without compromising quality.
• Drive improvements in engineering processes, tools, and systems for scalability.
• Collaborate across product, design, engineering, and analytics to solve high-impact problems with data-driven experiments.
• Contribute to estimations, planning, and execution of projects and integrations.
• Maintain and evolve backend services and infrastructure, delivering clean, tested code.
