Job summary

PathAI in Boston is seeking a backend-focused Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations team. You will design, build, and maintain critical APIs and data pipelines enabling seamless clinical workflows and real-time data exchange across external systems and our core product.

You will drive the architecture of our application platform, collaborating with product, design, machine learning, and infrastructure teams while upholding high engineering standards and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full life cycle development experience.
• Experience designing and building Python-based applications (FastAPI or Django).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and work autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and data pipelines for real-time data exchange.
• Drive the architecture of the application platform in alignment with product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product, design, ML, and infrastructure teams.
• Uphold high engineering standards with thorough code reviews, testing, and integration.
