Job summary

PathAI in Boston, MA is seeking a backend-focused Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrations team. You will design, build, and maintain critical APIs and data pipelines enabling seamless clinical workflows and real-time data exchange across external systems and our core product.

You will drive the architecture of our application platform, collaborate with product, design, ML, and infrastructure teams, uphold high engineering standards, and mentor teammates to foster code quality and

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of full life cycle development experience.
• Experience designing and building Python-based applications (FastAPI or Django).
• Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and work autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing meetings.
• Experience with AWS cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and data pipelines enabling seamless clinical workflows.
• Drive architecture of the application platform aligned with product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product, design, ML, and infrastructure teams.
• Uphold engineering standards, code reviews, testing, and integration.
