Job summary

VeryAI is seeking a Senior Engineer to own core parts of the platform behind Proof of Reality. You will set technical direction with the Head of Engineering, take problems from rough briefs to shipped systems, and stay responsible after launch. Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software with ownership after launch.
• Deep experience with Go or a comparable backend language and TypeScript/React.
• Strong API and data modeling judgment, including live migrations.
• Experience building scalable, cloud-based applications.
• Ability to debug across service boundaries using logs, metrics, traces.

Responsibilities

• Own services end to end from design to rollout, monitoring and docs.
• Set architecture direction and make security/privacy tradeoff calls.
• Turn rough briefs into shipped systems, deciding what to build first.
• Harden backend services and frontend experiences behind the verification platform.
• Increase data visibility with metrics, dashboards and alerts.
• Ship the developer portal and partner-facing APIs for integrations.
• Utilize AI agents for recurring load, and improve internal tooling reliability.
• Review designs and code with a critical eye and uphold shipping standards.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and clear documentation.
