Job summary

Aqua IT in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend initiatives that fuse data sources and automate analyst workflows. You will act as a technical expert, guiding major assignments and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the Intelligence Community, communicate with military and civilian personnel, and thrive in fast-paced projects with frequent context switching.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
• 9–13 years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, AWS, and containerizing applications.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Experience using GitLab for code source repository and CI/CD.
• Experience developing geospatial applications and interfacing with geospatial systems.
• Experience with geospatial data formats like Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, NTIF, WKT.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development fusing data sources to automate analysts' workflows.
• Act as a technical expert, guiding major assignments and project outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Context switch between multiple projects and applications daily.
