Job summary

Aqua IT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend development, integrate multiple data sources, and automate analysts’ workflows. You will act as a technical expert, guiding project outcomes and communicating with stakeholders across the Intelligence Community, military, and civilian personnel.

This role involves switching between projects daily, applying Python, AWS, and containerization, and working in Agile/SAFe environments to deliver valuable solutions.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly)
9–13 years of backend software development experience
Proficiency in Python, AWS, and containerizing applications
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments
Experience using GitLab for code source repository and GitLab CI/CD
Experience developing Geospatial focused applications and interfacing with geospatial systems
Experience with Geospatial data formats like Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, NTIF, WKT

Responsibilities
