Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Back End Software Engineer to join our Agile development team on a fixed term contract via an external partner. The role focuses on building foundational backend services for the Construction Cloud Platform, used across mobile apps, web apps, and cloud services.

The position is in a hybrid Tel Aviv office with 2 days in the office per week. You will design and implement robust Node.js backends, work with AWS and cloud-native architectures, and contribute to CI/CD

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a backend focus.
• Extensive hands-on experience building production-grade backend services in Node.js.
• Proven ability to design scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices, including Jenkins.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience designing backend architecture for large-scale cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices and observability/production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of an Agile team that builds, owns, and operates backend services.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from architecture to production.
• Build performant, maintainable backend solutions and cloud-based architectures on AWS.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes, including Jenkins hands-on work.
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
