Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Connected Delivery platform team. You will build a resilient, scalable full-stack app enabling discovery, download, and install of Autodesk products and third-party apps.

You will lead a team, influence architecture, and drive best practices in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will collaborate with product managers, own code reviews, mentor junior developers, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science or related technical field (MS preferred).
• Over 10 years of professional experience building scalable, distributed applications.
• Part of a large distributed team with significant responsibility.
• Strong experience leading a team of 5+ software engineers on projects.
• Strong experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#.
• Broad experience with NextJS and NestJS frameworks.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using microservices.
• Cloud-based API platforms or backend systems experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architectures.
• Experience building production-grade AI/ML apps using RAG/LangGraph/MCP integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile processes like SCRUM.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to write design & architecture documents.
• Ability to cultivate consensus across teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, and develop high-quality, secure, performant applications.
• Provide project and team leadership to plan, estimate, and organize work.
• Participate in agile ceremonies of the scrum team.
• Collaborate with product manager to elaborate requirements.
• Guide teams on software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot code-level issues quickly and efficiently.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Review code to ensure high standards.
• Interact with customers to identify and resolve defects.
• Mentor and develop junior developers.
• Rotate on-call for after-hours incidents to ensure 24/7 availability.
