Job summary

Everforth Apex in New York seeks a Vice President / Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale resilient backend platforms for payments, digital assets, and scalable financial services. Lead Go-based microservices with REST and gRPC, own CI/CD, testing, observability, and performance tuning.

Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations to ensure high availability and secure, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong backend engineering experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience designing microservices and API-driven platforms; REST and gRPC.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale resilient backend platforms for payments, digital assets, and financial services.
• Lead microservices architecture and API development with REST and gRPC.
• Drive cloud-native services using Docker and Kubernetes; ensure high availability and security.
• Improve engineering quality with testing, CI/CD, observability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, and operations teams to deliver reliable backend services.
