Job summary

Mesh is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale backend services and APIs. You’ll work with Azure and microservices while shaping secure, scalable fintech/crypto products.

You’ll collaborate with global teams across North America, Europe and India; 5–7+ years in backend; strong REST API design; and a security-first mindset. This is a hybrid role with in-office requirements in SF, NY, and Bangalore, and remote options where feasible.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of backend experience in fintech/crypto.
• Proficient in C#, Java, Scala, and Go.
• Security-first mindset with knowledge of AuthN/AuthZ, SAML, API security.
• RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Familiar with Azure and DevOps CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Work with Azure cloud services for deployment and scalability.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and resolution of defects.
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and system design.
• Optimize performance and ensure scalability for large data volumes.
