Job summary

Mesh is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. You will work with Azure-based deployments, collaborating with product and engineering teams across North America, Europe, and India to build scalable, secure fintech infrastructure.

You will participate in code reviews, stay current with crypto/fintech trends, and help create reliable, crypto-first products for payments and transfers. This role is hybrid with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of backend software engineering experience, fintech/crypto preferred.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go.
• Security-first mindset with experience in AuthN/AuthZ, SAML, API security, encryption.
• Understanding of crypto concepts like blockchains, RPCs, self custody wallets.
• Strong RESTful API design and microservices architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Deploy and scale with Azure cloud services.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and resolve defects promptly.
• Review code, contribute to architectural decisions and system design.
• Optimize performance and scalability for large data volumes.
