Job summary

Moloco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Experiment Platform team to design and evolve high-leverage systems that power Moloco's experimentation across products. You will own critical platform areas end-to-end, driving decisions that improve speed, safety, and trust in experimentation company-wide.

This role is ideal for engineers who combine execution with judgment, operate across backend and data system boundaries, and raise the quality bar for internal platforms used by many teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering in production environments.
• Backend systems, data infrastructure, distributed systems, or related platform areas.
• Ability to drive technical projects from problem definition through production rollout in ambiguous spaces.
• Strong judgment in system design, reliability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of major components across experiment management services, configuration delivery, and analysis pipelines.
• Own technical decisions for platform areas that balance correctness, reliability, performance, and adoption.
• Improve the trustworthiness of experimentation via system design, observability, data quality, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, statisticians, and stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable platform capabilities.
• Mentor other engineers through design discussions, code reviews, and pragmatic technical leadership.
