Job summary

CaseGuard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to fortify our backend team. You will design and build REST APIs and microservices in ASP.NET Core, and own end-to-end backend features from design to production.

You will shape database design, optimize performance, and deploy AWS infrastructure using IaC concepts. You will also scale processing workers, support real-time collaboration, and champion security and compliance across backend systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend experience delivering complex systems end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for REST APIs and microservices.
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB) and cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure REST APIs and microservices in ASP.NET Core.
• Develop backend workers for large-scale file processing and ML model integration.
• Own backend domains from design to production with minimal oversight.
• Architect and optimize databases, schemas, and queries for production systems.
• Design and deploy AWS infrastructure with IaC (CDK/CF/TF).
• Support real-time collaboration features and ensure reliability under load.
