Job summary

Security Journey is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing development team adding and updating features on its Enterprise AI Training and Capability Platform. We work as a close-knit team, utilizing generative AI to enhance our hard-won software development skills and enabling us to work effectively across all layers of the platform.

The role emphasizes backend development with Go, Rails, Kafka, and related technologies in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

5+ years practical backend development experience.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, secure and scalable code.
Ability to collaborate with product management, customer support, and clients.
Ability to work well individually and in the team context.
Cybersecurity interest or experience.
Experience with microservices or other service-based distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, support, and clients.
Write secure, scalable, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
