Security Journey is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing development team adding and updating features on its Enterprise AI Training and Capability Platform. We work as a close-knit team, utilizing generative AI to enhance our hard-won software development skills and enabling us to work effectively across all layers of the platform.

The role emphasizes backend development with Go, Rails, Kafka, and related technologies in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, secure and scalable code.
• Ability to collaborate with product management, customer support, and clients.
• Ability to work well individually and in the team context.
• Cybersecurity interest or experience.
• Experience with microservices or other service-based distributed systems.

Senior Software Engineer

Security Journey is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing development team adding and updating features on its Enterprise AI Training and Capability Platform. We work as a close-knit team, utilizing generative AI to enhance our hard-won software development skills and enabling us to work effectively across all layers of the platform.

Tech we use:

• A wide variety of LLM models, harnesses, and tools
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Postgres
• Go, Rails, Kafka, some Python
• React (TypeScript)

We are looking for:

• 5 or more years practical development experience, especially on the backend
• Excellent understanding of software engineering best practicesalong with a strong desire to produce excellent code that is secure, maintainable, and scaleable
• High level of ability to engage with product management, customer support, and clients to understand problems and collaborate on solutions
• Ability to work well both individually and in the team context
• Cybersecurity interest or experience
• Experience with microservices or other service-based distributed systems
