Job summary

Arxlight is a rapidly growing tech startup building next-generation drones for security and safety. The Backend Software Engineer will architect Linux-based services, data pipelines, and backend infrastructure to connect autonomous drone systems with operators in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities include designing sensor-integrated server systems, implementing Python/C++/Go/TypeScript backends, and operating within Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux server development and networking knowledge.
• Experience building backend or systems software in Python, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD, and hardware-integrated software.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Linux server-based systems with sensor and hardware integrations.
• Build backend and application software using Python, C++, Go, or similar languages.
• Work with networking, APIs, TCP/IP, UDP, and related protocols.
• Troubleshoot Linux, software, networking, and hardware issues.
• Test and debug systems in lab and real-world environments.
• Use Docker and CI/CD in development workflows.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and software engineers.
