Affir is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and scale Relational and Distributed SQL databases (MySQL, TiDB) on Kubernetes. You’ll own the control plane, enable zero-downtime migrations, and optimize service-to-storage networking.

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Hands-on with large-scale database deployments in production.

Responsabilités

• Build and operate the control plane for large-scale distributed SQL databases.
• Design zero-downtime migrations and upgrades across multi-tenant clusters.
• Own networking between services and storage on Kubernetes, including proxies.
• Lead and support your team to deliver quarterly goals with accountability.
