Job summary

Haus is building the data onboarding workflows and data platform powering ingestion from dozens of sources. You will implement scalable backend services and data pipelines to onboard customer data with minimal human intervention.

As a Backend Engineer on the Data Onboarding team, you will work with DP and AI services, support onboarding, and help scale processes for a growing customer base, including on-call rotation and close collaboration with Customer Success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building backend services & APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL/dbt with modern orchestrators.
• Experience with cloud data lakehouse/warehouse (BigQuery, Databricks).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Join the team responsible for accessing, ingesting, and validating customer data.
• Build, maintain and extend long-running workflows, APIs, data pipelines, and dashboards.
• Contribute to AI (MCP) services owned by the team.
• Partner with Customer Success to build custom data models for customers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
