Job summary

HausHaus, a causal marketing platform trusted by leading brands, seeks a backend data onboarding engineer to architect workflows that connect customer data and configure automated ingestion with minimal human input.

You’ll work on the Data Onboarding team within the Data Platform, building distributed backends that ingest data from ad networks, warehouses, and partner tools, ensuring accurate models in BigQuery for multi-million dollar decisions.

Qualifications

4+ years building backend services & APIs.
Proficiency in Python and SQL/dbt, with strong fluency in a modern orchestrator (Dagster, Airflow, Temporal).
Experience with cloud data lakehouse/warehouse (BigQuery, Databricks).
Experience with cloud infrastructure: Google Cloud, AWS.

Responsibilities

Join the team responsible for accessing, ingesting, and validating customer data.
Build, maintain and extend long-running workflows, APIs, data pipelines, customer-facing UIs, and scripts used in automatic and manual data ingestion flow.
Contribute to AI (MCP) services owned by the team.
Partner with Customer Success teams to build custom data models for customers.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
