Job summary

Haus is a causally-focused marketing platform seeking a backend engineer to develop workflows that connect customer data and configure ingestion with minimal human intervention. You will play a central role in onboarding new customers and scaling data flows across dozens of data sources.

You will work on the Data Onboarding team, building pipelines and services that feed a BigQuery model-driven platform used for incrementality analyses.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience building backend services & APIs.
Proficiency in Python and SQL/dbt, with fluency in modern orchestrators (Dagster, Airflow, Temporal).
Experience with cloud data lakehouse/warehouse (BigQuery, Databricks).
Experience with cloud infrastructure: Google Cloud, AWS.

Responsibilities

Join the team responsible for accessing, ingesting, and validating customer data.
Build, maintain and extend long-running workflows, APIs, data pipelines, customer-facing UIs, and scripts used in automatic and manual data ingestion flow.
Contribute to AI (MCP) services owned by the team.
Partner with Customer Success teams to build custom data models for customers.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
