Job summary

Haus, the causal marketing platform, is seeking a backend engineer to build and scale data ingestion workflows that connect customer data with automated pipelines. You’ll own long-running workflows, APIs, data pipelines, and tooling used in onboarding and data validation.

You’ll work with Python, SQL/dbt, and modern orchestrators while interfacing with BigQuery and cloud data lakes. A passion for automated data processing and customer-focused engineering helps our fast-growing team thrive.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building backend services and APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL/dbt with modern orchestrators.
• Experience with cloud data lakehouses and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Join the team responsible for accessing, ingesting, and validating customer data
• Build, maintain and extend workflows, APIs, data pipelines, customer-facing UIs, and scripts used in automatic and manual data ingestion flow
• Contribute to AI (MCP) services owned by the team
• Partner with Customer Success teams to build custom data models for customers
• Participate in an on-call rotation
