Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering with Python fluency.
• Cloud architecture experience—designing, deploying, and operating distributed services with Kubernetes.
• Strong PostgreSQL and relational data modeling experience under production load.
• Proven track record solving data integration problems from heterogeneous sources.
• Data-first philosophy and pragmatic approach to technology selection.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving team capability.

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture for the data ingestion system, including pipelines, mapping, validation, transformation, and orchestration.
• Build and secure backend services and cloud infra to onboard manufacturers quickly and reliably.
• Resolve integration challenges across source systems (ERP, telematics, warranty, service).
• Establish data quality, lineage, monitoring, and alerting for pipelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and customer teams to shape data onboarding roadmaps.
• Promote engineering standards through code reviews and design docs.
• Mentor engineers on data architecture and system design.
