Job summary

Zoom Communications, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer on the platform team to own and deliver full features, building reliable APIs and data infrastructure that directly shape the customer experience.

You will work with experienced engineers across backend and frontend, focusing on scalable, observable, and high-performance systems that power Zoom’s GTM platform and services in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong backend/API focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js including production deployment and ops.

Responsibilities

• Design and build infrastructure, data models, and APIs that power core platform features and resolve real customer problems at scale.
• Ship well-designed, testable code with focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and maintain software testing, validation procedures, and technical documentation that uphold engineering quality standards.
• Own core internal infrastructure and ML systems, ensuring they serve evolving needs of customers and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze complex system challenges and deliver simple, scalable designs with observability and SLA considerations.
