Job summary

Paxos Labs is building Transit, a liquidity orchestration and distribution network for tokenized assets. You’ll engineer the core backend services for a crosschain exchange and an enterprise RFQ engine, focusing on pricing, routing, and inventory management across chains.

You will own systems end to end—from design through deployment and on-call duty—ensuring real-time settlement and institutional-grade liquidity for major platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and operating production backend systems.
• Experience with financial systems such as trading, exchange, or settlement infrastructure.
• Proven track record of taking systems from 0 to 1 and hardening them.
• Understanding of traditional exchange market structures like CLOBs or RFQs.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and build core services behind Transit's RFQ orchestration engine: pricing, quoting, routing, inventory management, and settlement across chains and venues.
• Research, design, and build the core services behind Transit’s exchange orderbook: the matching engine, pricing rules, order APIs, onchain settlement.
• Own end-to-end systems from design to deployment, monitoring, and the on-call responsibility of moving real money.
• Build rate-aware pricing and inventory controls for assets whose price moves.
• Integrate new chains, venues, solver networks, and liquidity sources to improve integration cost efficiency.
• Develop the execution attribution and economics layer for programmatic revenue sharing.
