Job summary

LVT is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II for their Agentic AI Platform in Seattle. This role focuses on building and ensuring the reliability of the cloud event pipeline, enabling autonomous agents to operate efficiently.

The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in backend systems and a strong background in event streaming technologies. LVT offers a competitive salary range with equity options and benefits supporting health and financial futures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating backend or distributed systems in production at scale.
• Hands-on with Kafka or a comparable log/streaming system.
• A track record of hardening services with SLOs, metrics, and alerting.
• Comfortable choosing and operating different stores per access pattern.
• Strong in Go and/or Python; experience building APIs and services.

Responsibilities

• Harden the cloud event pipeline for reliability and ordering guarantees.
• Make the dispatch path to agent workflows reliable.
• Scale materialized stores for the event pipeline.
• Own observability and operability signals for the pipeline.
