Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating backend or distributed systems in production.
• Experience with Kafka topic and partition design and delivery guarantees.
• Track record of hardening services for production including SLOs and metrics.
• Comfortable choosing and operating different stores per access pattern.
• Strong in Go and/or Python for building APIs and large‑scale backend services.
• Familiar with AWS and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Make the cloud pipeline production‑grade with delivery and ordering guarantees.
• Ensure reliable dispatch to agent and CV workflows.
• Stand up and scale the materialized stores for the pipeline.
• Own dashboards, alerting, and feature flags for observability.
