Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Recent hands-on experience as a back-end software engineer.
• Experience in Java and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in designing and implementing tests (unit/integration/performance).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end solutions in cloud-native microservices architectures.
• Use domain modelling techniques to build robust business products.
• Structure software for readability, testability, and evolvability.
• Build scalable architectures to avoid single points of failure.
• Develop secure code to protect customers and the platform.
• Investigate and fix issues promptly to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure releases happen with zero downtime for end users.
• Ensure data storage and retrieval are optimized for needs.
• Monitor and improve performance and reliability of systems.
• Keep systems up to date with evolving technologies and patterns.
• Support products through their lifecycle including in production and incident management.
