Job summary

UiPath is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and improve reliable cloud services powering automation across the UiPath platform. You will work on backend systems that scale, integrate with other platform services, and support customers in cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.

You will own complex technical areas, make strong design decisions, and help improve quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability of the systems your team owns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages: C#, Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native design.
• Experience building production services in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and messaging/event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend and cloud-native services.
• Build scalable, secure distributed systems with long-term maintainability.
• Address scalability, availability, performance, observability, incidents, and multi-environment deployments.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, architects, and teams to meet customer needs.
• Contribute to system design, technical planning, code reviews, automation, and best practices.
• Identify bottlenecks, production issues, technical debt, and drive improvements with ownership.
