Job summary

UiPath is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to build the core orchestration engine for enterprise AI automation. You will design, develop, and scale backend services, leveraging AI-assisted tools to deliver reliable, scalable software that powers AI agents, robots, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

You will own production-grade code, collaborate with the Maestro backend team, and contribute to UiPath's strategic Act 2 roadmap while embracing a flexible hybrid/remote work model.

Qualifications

• Active use of AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) in daily development workflow.
• Builder mindset: creating things from scratch and delivering to production.
• Strong C# expertise with backend development experience.
• Demonstrated track record of rapid growth and impact in prior roles.
• Experience building distributed systems with focus on scalability and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills to understand and articulate customer needs.
• Customer empathy and user-centric thinking.

Responsibilities
