Job summary

Physna is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and scale backend systems powering our SaaS platform. You’ll design and implement integrations, deployment patterns, and frameworks that make it easier and safer for customers to adopt and scale Physna in their own systems.

Your work will involve building integrations with customers and partners, designing deployment approaches in cloud environments, and ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance across deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend or full-stack development experience, ideally in distributed cloud-native systems.
• Expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, or C++
• Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• A product mindset: ownership, urgency, and delivering real value to customers
• A systems-thinking mindset: seeing interconnections and automating as you go, delivering resilient, creative, and efficient solutions that strengthen the whole system
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
