Job summary

Barracuda Networks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Cloud-to-Cloud Backup team in the Data Protection division. You will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services that protect Microsoft 365 data and support disaster recovery and compliance efforts.

You will work across Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, and Azure services, collaborating with frontend and QA teams while mentoring peers and contributing to code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in object-oriented programming (C#, C++, Java).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and Git.
• Experience building and deploying apps in the public cloud (Azure) and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and optimize backend features for Cloud-to-Cloud Backup product.
• Debug and fix issues in production and development environments.
• Mentor teammates on design and development best practices and code reviews.
• Develop metrics to monitor production system performance and reliability.
