Job summary

Aescape, a New York-based physical AI and robotics company, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and ship services that connect our platform to third-party booking providers. This contract role focuses on delivering three integrations and establishing a maintainable infrastructure.

You'll work with the backend and infrastructure teams to produce production-ready code, follow our Go service templates, and hand off clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend experience with production Go (Golang)
• Experience building/ship third-party API integrations in production
• Ability to take a service from skeleton to production with clear docs

Responsibilities

• Review service and infrastructure templates and set up a skeleton Go service
• Set up infrastructure for third-party integration services
• Implement booking platform integrations (3 platforms)
• Collaborate with backend and infra teams to improve APIs and templates
• Create an infrastructure maintenance plan and hand off at end of engagement
• Potential for future work: fix integrations after API changes, add more providers
