Job summary

Aescape, a New York-based physical AI and robotics company, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer (Contract) to build and ship third-party booking integrations. Qualifications

5+ years of backend engineering with production Golang experience.
Experience building and shipping third-party API integrations in production.
Comfort working with vendor APIs that are inconsistent or thinly documented.
Experience with AWS and infrastructure setup for backend services.
Based in the United States and eligible to work as a 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

Review service templates and set up a skeleton Go service following our template.
Set up infrastructure for running third-party integration services for light maintenance.
Implement each booking platform integration within the infrastructure (3 platforms).
Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams to improve API and templates.
Create an infrastructure maintenance plan and hand off at engagement end.
Potential future work includes fixing API changes and expanding providers.
