Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Authentication team, you will help build and scale the cloud services behind Passport, focusing on highly reliable authentication and identity workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Go, Python, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native systems in AWS or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and production ownership

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor backend services and APIs in Go and Python
• Build cloud-native services across AWS and GCP with reliability, scale, and secure operation
• Deliver features through full software lifecycle with CI/CD and IaC practices
• Tackle complex authentication, identity, and fraud prevention problems
• Collaborate with Research, MLOps, and other teams to productionize AI/ML models
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to runbooks and design reviews
