Job summary

Trivelta is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the platform’s core infrastructure. You will drive innovation, optimize performance, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability while collaborating with product, security, compliance, and data analytics teams.

Your role involves building scalable backend systems, securing compliance with AML/KYC and data privacy, and mentoring engineers to uphold technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems.
• Strong hands-on Python for backend development, automation, and data processing.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs, with CI/CD pipelines and infra automation.
• Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, data privacy).
• Experience with data pipelines, analytics integrations, and geolocation-based access controls.
• Experience mentoring engineers and sharing engineering best practices.
• Strong collaboration across product, finance, compliance, and support.
• Incident management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Backend Systems: Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend solutions with robust APIs for mobile, web, and third-party integrations.
• Ensure Performance, Security & Compliance: Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and enforce security and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor: Guide engineers by sharing best practices and fostering technical excellence.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product, finance, compliance, and support to translate requirements into tech solutions.
