Job summary

Albert Bow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to scale the core backend systems behind an AI-powered clinical review platform. You will own significant projects end-to-end and design fault-tolerant services.

You will work with a small team, mentoring engineers and partnering with product and customer teams. The role is hybrid in New York City, with 4 days in office. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python, TypeScript and AWS.
• Experience at venture-backed, high-growth startups.
• Production experience building and scaling distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Python, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Own complex projects from product requirements and architecture through production.
• Build data extraction, document-processing and API-driven workflows.
• Improve system reliability, observability and fault tolerance.
• Translate business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance.
• Partner with product and customer-facing teams.
