Job summary

Cloudbeds is a fully remote team transforming hospitality software across 150 countries. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Workflow Squad, you will design, build, and operate backend capabilities using PHP and Java, with occasional frontend contributions.

You will own features end-to-end, focusing on scalable, reliable, and AI-enabled experiences for hoteliers. You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, Infrastructure, Security, and other engineering teams, contributing to architecture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building, shipping, and operating production applications.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of API design, relational data modeling, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, & operate customer-facing backend services and product capabilities in PHP/Java.
• Build reliable APIs, data models, integrations, and event-driven services.
• Own changes end-to-end from design to production operation.
