Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with full SDLC
• 3+ years building cloud-native apps (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• 4+ strong programming skills in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go with backend focus
• 2+ years designing and developing microservices including API design and event-driven patterns
• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude/Curosr/OpenCode/Codex
• Experience with search technologies like Elastic/OpenSearch/Solr/Lucene
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools including Splunk for production support
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional, collaborative environments

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures including APIs and event-driven systems
• Develop and maintain backend services and distributed systems for scalability and performance
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on cloud-native strategies
• Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time and batch processing
• Enable AI-driven features like intelligent search and recommendations
• Contribute to search systems using Elastic/OpenSearch/Solr/Lucene
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ensure reliability with monitoring, logging, and observability
• Participate in design reviews and coding standards
• Support production systems and performance improvements
• Follow responsible AI practices
