Job summary

Wild Zebra is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services in Python, develop APIs and data models, and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform. You will integrate LLMs into production and contribute to web apps built with TypeScript and React, playing a critical role in product development.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Already living in the Seattle area; we are not offering relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python.
• Design and develop APIs, data models, and application architecture.
• Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Integrate LLMs and AI services into production systems.
• Improve performance, reliability, monitoring, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to web applications built with TypeScript and React.
• Be an integral part of the product development.
