Wild Zebra in Seattle is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on frontend to design, develop, and maintain user-facing features for an AI-powered learning platform.

You will collaborate with product and design teams, write clean, scalable code, and integrate with backend services and APIs. The role offers a hybrid schedule in the Greater Seattle Area with equity and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming and object-oriented design skills with modern web languages/frameworks.
• Experience building back-end web services using APIs, microservices, and databases.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and performance optimizations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Seattle-based environment and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for the AI-powered learning platform.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature requirements and ensure accessibility.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.
• Conduct code reviews, improve application reliability and scalability, and contribute to architectural discussions.
