Storm3 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend & Agentic AI to join the AI4Science - Therapeutics initiative. You will architect and implement backend systems powering our agentic research product, collaborating with scientists and engineers across disciplines.

The role emphasizes Python backend development, distributed systems, and capabilities around LLMs, with a focus on reliability and observability in complex scientific workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development using Python.
• Experience with LLM applications and agentic frameworks.
• Familiarity with reliability and observability of complex systems.
• Experience working with biological/biomedical data (e.g., AlphaFold, Genomics).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Connect AI models to scientific tools and datasets.
• Build agentic interfaces for scientists to run experiments.
• Design and build systems powering long-running workflows.
• Partner closely with Scientists, Therapeutics experts, and other Engineers.
