Job summary

Trustible is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build agentic AI capabilities in a backend-heavy role. You’ll design MCP tool integrations, architect data pipelines, and extend Django/Python features while shaping the infrastructure that lets AI agents act reliably within our platform.

You’ll enjoy autonomy, make architecture calls, mentor engineers, and partner with the CTO on the agentic roadmap. Strong backend depth and curiosity about agentic AI are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Django or a comparable web framework.
• Experience building data pipelines: ingestion, transformation, and processing at scale.
• Familiarity with LLM tool-calling patterns, MCP, or agent-orchestration concepts.
• Strong systems thinking: failure modes, retries, idempotency, data consistency.
• Track record of navigating ambiguous, fast-moving technical spaces.
• Excellent written communication; document designs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and build MCP tool integrations connecting our platform to model providers and external systems.
• Architect data pipelines that ingest, structure, and process AI agent outputs at scale.
• Build and maintain core platform features in Django and Python, alongside agentic work.
• Make sound tradeoffs between build speed and long-term maintainability, and defend those calls.
• Partner with our CTO on technical architecture for the agentic roadmap.
• Set technical standards for agentic development for growing teams.
• Debug and harden production systems to handle agentic reliability.
