Zizy is seeking a self-starter engineer who loves building new products in an iterative, fast-moving environment. You will bring our large language models to millions of users around the world and interface directly with users to develop the features they want most, while collaborating closely with the core research team.

You will architect, build, and deploy backend systems powering Zizy, scale from day one, and work with a cross-functional team to create cutting-edge products.

Job description

We are looking for a self-starter engineer who loves building new products in an iterative and fast-moving environment. In this role, you will be bringing our large language models to millions of users around the world. Users of Zizy include everyday enthusiasts as well as professionals - you'll interface directly with users to develop the features they want most! You will also collaborate closely with the core research team that created the Zizy model and work with them to continually improve it. You will be a core part of the effort to push these technologies forward, and onto the next 100x users.

In this role, you will:

• Architect, build, and deploy the backend systems and services that power Zizy
• Build for scale from day one to ensure we can reach the next 10x in traffic
• Work with the research team to get relevant feedback and iterate on their latest models
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, product managers, designers, and operations folks to create cutting-edge products

• Have meaningful experience with building (and rebuilding) production systems to deliver new product capabilities and to handle increasing scale
• Care deeply about the end user experience and take pride in building products to solve customer needs
• Have a humble attitude, an eagerness to help your colleagues, and a desire to do whatever it takes to make the team succeed
• Own problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done
• Build tools to accelerate your own (and your teammates) workflows, but only when off-the-shelf solutions won't do
• Have been a startup founder or an early-stage engineer
