Job summary

Harrison Clarke is seeking an experienced backend software engineer to design and build scalable, cloud-native services. You will work on high-throughput data ingestion pipelines, distributed systems, and production-grade software running on Kubernetes across AWS/Azure/GCP.

The role requires ownership, startup mindset, and strong collaboration within a small engineering team to solve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Experience with systems languages (Go preferred; Rust/Java/C/C++ also acceptable).
• Experience building distributed systems and production backend services.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and deploying to AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Background in high-throughput data platforms, messaging, or streaming architectures.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and distributed computing concepts.
