Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Mobius team, building scalable backend services in C# for the NIA analytics platform. This role focuses on ingesting and transforming large volumes of data and ensuring performance for enterprise customers.

You will work with AI-assisted development tools, collaborate across engineering teams, and help shape features and architecture. Hybrid work in Atlanta with in-office Mondays and Tuesdays, plus remote days.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience.
Strong C# / .NET backend development experience.
4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience in production environments.
Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, partitioning, Extended Events, I/O and latch contention resolution.
Experience building high-volume data processing systems.
Experience with ETL and data movement solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend services using C#.
Develop and optimize high-volume ETL and data ingestion pipelines.
Design, tune, and maintain complex Microsoft SQL Server environments.
Troubleshoot performance challenges across large-scale distributed systems.
Investigate customer-facing production issues and drive resolution.
Partner with multiple engineering teams relying on Mobius-managed data.
Use AI-assisted development tools to analyze requirements, accelerate coding, review implementations, and create automated testing strategies.
Contribute to new feature development, platform enhancements, and architectural improvements.
