Qualifications

• 3–6 years of backend software development experience in enterprise platforms.
• Senior developer with a track record of technical contribution.
• Proficiency in modern Java backend frameworks.
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with IAM including SSO and fine‑grained authorization.
• Cloud-native development with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud adoption (AWS/GCP).
• Good knowledge of database technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Hands‑on with Unix, Oracle, caching, and AI adoption.
• Frontend integration knowledge with ReactJS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, architecture, and implementation of critical backend services.
• Develop high‑performance, fault‑tolerant APIs and services.
• Implement security with SSO, entitlements, and compliance.
• Optimize systems with caching, asynchronous processing, and data access.
• Integrate Content Provider applications via HTTPS interfaces.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex production issues.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, architects, and infra teams.
• Drive compliance with laws, policy, and Citi standards.
